It all started in march 2008 when i thought it about time i tried a 1 of these track days all my mates were raving about.. I got an 2006 fire blade which is my pride and joy so i made the option of bike hire for the day.. Cost about £160 for bike hire pus £150 for track.. Alot of money for 1 day but i thought its only gonna be once so well worth it.. The bike i hired was a R6 track ready..The chap running the bike hire was spot on making sure the is running perfect all day, like tyre pressures, warmers and fuel ect..</div><br /><div>You get 20mins on the track every hour. Dont seem like alot but believe me you sweat your **** off and the forty min break comes round faster than you think...</div><br /><div>So i'm flying round donnington with the biggest smile on my face i;ve ever had. It takes a good day to learn the track if not longer but by the end of the first day you should be dragging your knees round every bend... what a buzz...</div><br /><div>I got home that evening and got straight on the net looking for a track bike... Took a couple weeks to find the right one and there it was an 06 R1 track bike.... I paid £4000.00 for this bike which was a steel at the time.. Road registered R1 were fetching over £5300.00 so i thought it was a good buy..</div><br /><div>So i got my track bike then had to get all the extras, tyre warmers, spare wheels with wet tyres, paddock stands, good tool kit and share's in relentless energy drinks....</div><br /><div>We done track days about every 4 weeks last year and loved every 1 of them..
